I am 45 years old and have been married for almost 27 years to my very supportive husband, Tom.

I am a mother of 12 children.  I have had 1 hospital birth with a nurse midwife, 1 birth center birth,  7 home births with different midwives, and have adopted 3 children with special needs.  Each experience was unique, complete with individual challenges and joys.

My heart is to help young women (especially those with an unplanned pregnancy) have a wonderful birth experience.  What seems like a very difficult time, can be turned into a great opportunity to become a better person and a awesome experience.  Birth is like that.  It is both challenging and incredible, yet wonderful.  Let's figure out how to have the best and safest birth possible for you and your baby.
